Hey Pocket Sketchers™! How would you like to do a meet up at various locations in the area for an hour or two of painting and sharing now and then?

I will post announcements for these no-host, no-cost events on my website under this category. For those who are able and willing, simply show up and enjoy our growing community of enthusiasts.

Please send me a note if you would like to propose a meet up. Please include date/time/location. If you suggest a location at a place that is NOT generally open to the public, please make sure you have cleared it with the appropriate person at the site and provide that point of contact to me! I’ll confirm and post what you send me.

Belle Grove, (Middletown, VA) Smithsonian Museum Live Special Event
Saturday, September 22, 10 am – 4 pm. Free admission all day to the house and grounds. Lovely opportunity to sketch indoors and out. Please be considerate of other patrons, especially in indoor settings and allow yourself plenty of elbow-room with your sketching; it may only be practical to sketch with pen or pencil if conditions are congested. Complete your painting later, or wait for any crowded condition to abate. Rare opportunity to sketch indoors and to select vistas from porch or window.
